Status: Part Time up to Full Time
Job Summary: Onsite IT Services for troubleshooting, repairs and installations of Networking, Device Connections, CCTV and Telecommunications for POTs and VoiP.
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for meeting the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the customer’s equipment. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required.
Duties/Responsibilities- Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications as needed.
- Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair.
- Moving, Adding and Changing of network equipment (Routers, switches and device setups).
- Racking and stacking as directed.
- Installation of Cabling as directed.
- Install Structured Cabling per city code.
- Connect/Install Demarc Extensions per city code to home and businesses.
- Installs and provides network wiring testing and Cable certification services for new installations and existing networks.
- Wireless Access Point Installation and Advanced network troubleshooting for on- premises, and cloud services.
- Installation of CAT5E/6/6A and Fiber Optics.
- Troubleshoot Surveillance & Monitoring, CCTV (Closed Circuit) and Motion Alert Cameras.
- Repair and troubleshoot and/or replace Audio visual, Paging/Intercom and Digital Signage.
- Troubleshoot and install Phone systems and PBX. Install and troubleshoot Voice over IP.
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Proficient in use of a laptop.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing network connections and equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
- Proven record of being reliable and accountable for all aspects of their job.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At Least 2 To 3 Related Field Experiences Required.
Physical RequirementsThe ability to lift and carry a toolbox that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged periods of driving, standing, squatting, climbing ladder and fitting into tight spaces.
