HVAC Maintenance Tech - Plant Engineering

Overview

This position is 1st shift. It requires on-call, as needed during any hours.

Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specific systems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.), chiller operations, BAS controls, pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAVs, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

• 3 years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience. Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program Required
• 1 year for systems that include BAS controls; experience must include commercial/healthcare HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program Required

• EPA – Universal Certification Required
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State;
  Valid state issued driver s license & adhere to Piedmont s Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 Required
