CRANE OPERATOR | Steel Fabrication Industry

Starting pay based on experience + Per Diem

Join a growing team that plays a critical role in building the structures that shape our communities. We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Crane Operator to support steel and erection projects.

What You'll Do:
  • Operate cranes to safely lift, move, and position structural steel and related materials.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
  • Work closely with riggers, ironworkers, and project crews to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Assist with crane and lift plans when necessary.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling as needed.
  • Be willing to travel and stay in a motel when jobs require it.
  • Operate forklift to assist with unloading and shaking out materials as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Previous crane operating experience required.
  • NCCCO certification required.
  • OSHA rigging and signaling training required.
  • CDL or ability to obtain a CDL is preferred.
  • Knowledge of rigging practices and load charts.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.

Work Schedule:

7:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday, and 7:00 am to 12:00 pm on Fridays. Weekend work is occasionally necessary.
