DescriptionDuties
:
- Assists with general maintenance, repairs and service of utilities
- Performs minor repairs and maintenance of buildings and cottages
- Performs minor electrical work, as required.
- Performs general plumbing work such as unstopping drains, repairing faucets, soldering and brazing.
- Reviewed all work products to ensure highest level of quality.
- Keeps tools, equipment and machines clean and in safe operating order
- Follows all procedures for safe and efficient operation of tools, equipment and machines.
- Abides by all federal, state and company safety guidelines
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with members, employees, guests, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond to after hour calls in regards to maintenance/HVAC of short and long-term property, possibly having to return to Reynolds Lake Oconee to assist guests/renters with problems
Qualifications
:
- General knowledge in all trades-electrical, plumbing, heating, carpentry and painting
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, sketches, and drawings
- Valid GA driver’s license with a good record
- Must be able to bend, stretch, stoop, and lift a maximum of 100 lbs
- Must able to withstand various weather conditions
- Must possess skills of diplomacy and tact while dealing with members, employees, guests, contractors, and vendors
- Basic computer skills in MS Office and the ability to learn new software systems
- Medical, dental, vision and life insurance

2 years experience in HVAC service work, plumbing repair and electrical work
