Job Summary:
Inspects, repairs, installs, and maintains electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Ensures all work performed meets required safety codes and is properly inspected. Requires at least two years of journeyman‑level electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid state electrician’s license.
- Perform routine and moderately complex maintenance and repairs on all building internal electrical systems, equipment, and controls, including 120V distribution systems, fluorescent/LED lighting, generators, fire alarms, motor controls, HVAC, and pumps.
- Troubleshoot, assess, and diagnose system problems and execute repairs as needed.
- Perform routine and moderately complex maintenance and repairs on all external building electrical power supply systems and controls, such as service feeders, panels, and switches.
- Serve on an on‑call rotation and remain work‑ready during scheduled periods.
- High School diploma or GED with at least four years of relevant experience.
- At least two years of journeyman‑level electrical experience.
- Valid electrician’s license from the state.
- Valid driver’s license.
