Skilled Carpenter

Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Skilled Carpenter at Premier Construction Services, Inc. The Skilled Carpenter will be responsible for tasks such as carpentry, metal studs, ceilings, painting, and finish carpentry. The role will involve contributing to various commercial construction projects throughout the CSRA and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

• Preform rough and finish carpentry work on active commercial job sites.
• Ability to install doors, frames, hardware, and trim per plans and specifications.
• Experience in metal framing, blocking and drywall.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Assist with material handling, layout, and site prep.
• Work closely with foremen, superintendents, and other trades to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
• Physical strength and stamina for manual labor.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Must have a strong work ethic and be reliable.
• OSHA 30-preferred.
• Desire to develop and expand your construction career.
• Must have reliable transportation to project worksites.
• Compensation is based upon experience.
