HVAC Service Technician
ACS – Augusta, GeorgiaACS is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in the Augusta, GA market. We are looking for dependable, motivated technicians who take pride in delivering high-quality service, strong customer communication, and professional workmanship.
This role is ideal for a technician with at least 3 years of residential and/or light commercial HVAC experience who can confidently diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems while representing the company professionally in customers’ homes and businesses.
Position OverviewAs an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Technicians are expected to work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively while helping customers understand recommended solutions and system needs.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and mechanical issues
- Service furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, mini‑splits, and related equipment
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers
- Complete service tickets, notes, and documentation accurately
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
- Participate in on‑call rotation as needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC service experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience using Service Titan or similar software
- NATE Certification but not required
- Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions
