Millwright; Augusta, GA - Austin Industrial; NUTR

Austin Industrial offers premier delivery services across industrial sectors. We are seeking a full‑time Millwright/Mechanic to work 40 hours per week (4/10 schedule). This position does not include per diem or relocation funding.

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains industrial mechanical equipment.
• Replaces defective parts or adjusts clearances and alignment of moving parts.
• Tests, repairs, or installs mechanical units such as water pumps, fuel pumps, governors, distributors, carburetor systems, brakes, clutches, and other devices.
• Replaces bearings, chains, sprockets, and other machine parts.
• Rebuilds pumps, cylinders, and other mechanical equipment following SOPs.
• Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
• Fabricates replacement parts as necessary.
• Works while wearing required PPE, including but not limited to rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air‑purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, fire‑resistant coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs, and safety glasses.
• Maintains full range of mobility in upper and lower body; able to reach overhead, work in various positions (stooping, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting), handle tools, climb stairs, balance, and work at heights.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• No minimum education requirement.
• 3–5 years of Journeyman‑level mechanical experience.
• Must pass pre‑employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
