We are seeking an experienced Siemens Controls Engineer with strong medical device manufacturing experience to support automation and controls initiatives in a regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must have extensive onsite factory experience supporting installation, commissioning, validation, startup, and production support activities.

Key Responsibilities- Design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain Siemens PLC-based automation systems.
- Support onsite installation, commissioning, startup, and machine integration activities.
- Develop and modify PLC logic using Siemens TIA Portal and STEP 7.
- Support FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, validation, and production support activities.
- Work closely with manufacturing engineering teams on process improvements and system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot controls, instrumentation, and automation-related issues in production environments.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and medical device regulatory standards.
- Support documentation, validation protocols, and commissioning reports.
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering, quality, and operations teams.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Siemens S7 PLCs, TIA Portal, WinCC, and STEP 7.
- Strong onsite factory experience supporting installation and commissioning activities.
- Experience in startup support and production stabilization.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Profinet and Profibus.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial automation integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and commissioning experience in manufacturing facilities.
- Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of GMP, FDA, IQ/OQ/PQ, and validation processes.
- Experience supporting medical device manufacturing operations.
- Exposure to robotics, motion control, and automated inspection systems.
- Strong documentation and compliance management skills.
- Ability to independently support manufacturing facilities onsite.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
