Commercial HVAC Service Technician
Location:
Cumming, GA
Pay: $35.00–$55.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join a growing team in the Cumming, GA area.
This position is focused exclusively on commercial HVAC service and maintenance. There is no residential work.
The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting experience with commercial HVAC systems and is comfortable working independently at customer facilities such as office buildings, schools, retail locations, and other commercial properties.

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment
- Service rooftop units (RTUs), package units, split systems, air handlers, heat pumps, make-up air units, and other commercial HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service
- Respond to commercial HVAC service calls and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Diagnose electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and mechanical problems
- Perform refrigerant diagnostics, leak detection, recovery, evacuation, charging, and system repairs
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications
- Identify necessary repairs and clearly communicate recommendations
- Complete accurate service documentation
- Maintain a professional relationship with commercial customers
- Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices
- Work independently while communicating effectively with dispatch and management
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong commercial HVAC troubleshooting experience
- EPA Universal Certification preferred
- Experience servicing RTUs, package units, split systems, air handlers, and other commercial equipment
- Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills
- Ability to diagnose HVAC problems without constant supervision
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional and dependable
- Ability to work independently in the field
