The Electrician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing all electrical systems and equipment in the property. The role ensures uninterrupted power supply, safety compliance, and efficient functioning of lighting, wiring, and electrical fixtures across guest rooms, kitchens, and operational areas.
Key Responsibilities:Maintenance & Operations
Carry out daily inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, panels, and equipment.
Respond promptly to guest room and operational area maintenance requests.
Ensure smooth functioning of generators, UPS systems, and emergency lighting.
Assist in installation of new wiring, sockets, switches, and equipment.
Record all maintenance activities in daily logbooks.
Safety & ComplianceFollow all electrical safety codes, procedures, and regulations.
Identify and report electrical hazards or faulty equipment immediately.
Ensure all tools and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) are used safely.
Support fire and safety systems maintenance as required.
Skills & Attributes:Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and controls
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset
Physically fit and willing to work in shifts or emergencies
Qualifications &Experience:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Trade or equivalent
2–5 years of experience as an electrician in a hotel, industrial, or facility setup
Valid electrical license (if required by local regulations)
Basic understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems is a plus
