Postdoctoral Fellow- PhD Child

Job Summary

This is a postdoctoral fellow in the psychology child and adolescent division. This position serves as a clinical provider, researcher, and teaching/supervisor assistant within the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior, with a significant role within the Psychology Division, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry division, and the psychology internship program.

• Perform systematic research, collaborating on departmental research projects and conducting one's own research.
• Review articles prepared by others.
• Supervise psychology interns, teach didactics and seminars weekly to medical students, interns, and residents on various mental health topics.
• Provide clinical psychotherapy services to children and adolescents in various clinics within MCG/AU.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

• Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to complete work and meet deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to work with research animals.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software, databases, or willingness to learn.

Shift: Days M-F (work outside normal business hours may be required for an exempt level position). Salary commensurate with qualifications within the established range (generally minimum to midpoint). Recruitment period: 1/27/26 - Until Filled.

Faculty hires must provide proof of completed academic degree(s) and post‑secondary coursework transcripts; foreign institution candidates must provide educational credential evaluation.
