Qualifications- Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Current or ability to obtain a non‑exceptional interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency required in accordance with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Ability to work the required schedule and specific location, complete Penske employment application, and submit to background investigation and drug screening
- Complete awareness of federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Position regulated by the Department of Transportation; must remain alert and maintain safety at all times and assume responsibility for own and others’ safety
- Must be able to see and hear. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must frequently move, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms.
- Must legally operate a motor vehicle, safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally.
