About the Opportunity

Velocity Rail Solutions IS seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to join our elite team fueling locomotives. This night shift position offers consistent, full-time hours, guaranteed overtime, weekly pay, and year-round stability — no weather or seasonal slowdowns.

You’ll be paid for a full 12-hour shift — including breaks, lunch, and dispatch wait time — with steady income. The best part? Get 3 consecutive weekdays off a week, so you can enjoy more free time. If you want a local driving job where you’re home daily and part of a vital operation, this is it.

$56,000 + annually (48 hours)

• $1,040/ weekly earnings (48 hours)
• Set Swing shift schedule (4 on 3 off schedule-48 hours) Friday and Saturday from 6 AM to 6 PM, Sunday and Monday 6 PM to 6 AM with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Off

• Operate an automatic tractor-tanker to transport and deliver fuel into locomotives at railyards.
• Serve as a mobile fueling station, providing on-site fueling services to locomotives.
• Run regular routes ensuring timely and efficient fuel deliveries.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate fuel logs, delivery records, and inventory documentation.
• Communicate effectively with railroad personnel to coordinate fueling operations.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols during transport and fueling.

• CDL Class A with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
• Tractor-trailer driving experience (Hazmat hauling experience not required)
• Ability to pass DOT and company background checks
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Strong communication and time-management skills

• Able to consistently bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on and off elevated surfaces
• May have to walk long distances on paved, unmaintained, or uneven surfaces
• Able to climb in and out of a truck cab multiple times per shift and climb a ladder or steps 10 or more times per day
• Able to drive and work outside in adverse weather conditions
• Willing to work with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
