The Transport Coordinator supports day-to-day transport operations within the 4PL Supply Chain network, acting as a key interface between DHL, customers, carriers, and suppliers. The role focuses on ensuring efficient execution of transport flows, monitoring shipments, resolving operational exceptions, and maintaining service performance and data accuracy in line with customer requirements.

Hands-on experience in Ocean Freight operations is required, as the role operates within a highly maritime-focused transport network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day transport planning and execution control
  • Monitor shipments and manage exceptions across inbound, outbound, and empty container flows
  • Act as the first point of contact for transport-related enquiries from supply chain partners
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated transportation solutions
  • Support Freight Bill Audit (FBA) activities and related operational processes
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, processes, and data quality requirements
Requirements for the Job

Mandatory requirements

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Ocean Freight transport operations (booking with carriers, shipment follow-up, documentation handling, exception management)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure and manage daily operational tasks
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, and team-oriented mindset
  • Fluent Spanish and English (verbal and written)

Valuable experience

  • Experience with Transport Management and/or Order Management systems
  • Basic understanding of regulatory and customs principles
  • Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) knowledge is an advantage
  • Education in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (Bachelor’s degree or Master’s)
