Job Summary
Join Pratt & Whitney at our Columbus Engine Center, where precision meets purpose. As a Materials Logistics Specialist, you’ll be at the center of engine movement—coordinating, handling, and preparing some of the most advanced aerospace technology in the world for shipment and delivery.
Shift: Monday – Thursday 5 am – 3:30 pm.
What You Will Do- Operate forklifts and box trucks handling a wide range of materials and equipment.
- Load and unload engines and parts from flatbed trailers.
- Prepare engines for shipping, loading, and unloading.
- Process shipping and receiving paperwork.
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- 1+ years’ experience in a warehouse or production control environment or within a materials management organization.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Experience moving heavy loads with box trucks and forklifts (up to 30,000 pounds).
- Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP systems for inventory control and production tracking.
