Through direct interaction with drivers, determine maintenance and/or mechanical related issues with equipment and create descriptive repair information for repairing technician .
PRINCIPALACCOUNTABILITIES
Interpret driver issues and create descriptive repair infor mation for repairing technician .
Schedule service and repairs in the shop through consultation with the shift supervisor .
Monitor and report estimated time of completion for driver and Operations .
Create and update purchase orders for parts and units at local vendors .
Provide prompt and courteous customer service for our driver team members .
Qualificat ions and Education RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent .
Familiarity with Class 8 vehicle equipment .
Preferred SkillsGood written and verbal communication skills .
Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.
Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results.
