Location: Augusta, GA
Contract: 2 Years
Client: Georgia Power
Position SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment and operating forklifts. This role involves handling material movements safely and efficiently, supporting inventory organization, and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse and yard space.
Key Responsibilities- Safely load and unload warehouse materials using a forklift
- Assist Senior Storekeepers with storing and organizing incoming materials
- Maintain warehouse and yard cleanliness and organization
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Accurately document and track material movement as needed
- 1–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience
- Forklift operation experience (certification preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
- Self-motivated and proactive in addressing work tasks
This role involves physical activity, including lifting, operating equipment, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions in the yard.
