Warehouse Storeroom Attendant

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Hiram, Georgia. This weekly paid position offers excellent benefits and a career you can feel good about.

Hourly Pay: $17.39 per hour

Schedule:

First Shift Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Manage day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred).
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Straightforward initiative and high degree of accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work indoors/outdoors.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule across various work shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices and strong attendance record.
