SUMMARY:

This full-time, exempt, 211-day position, provides assistance to the building principal in the administration of the total school program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties may be assigned.

Serves as administrative head of the school in the absence of the principal.

>Administers a program of student discipline.

>Provides general supervision to students.

>Supervises extracurricular activities.

>Assists with staff evaluations.

>Manages building staff, assisting with building problems.

>Supervises staff attendance and the assignment of substitute teachers.

>Assists with the scheduling of special events during the school day.

>Administers all building non-athletic student activity programs.

>Coordinates in the development of the master teaching and class schedule.
