Description:
Butler County Special Education Interlocal #638 is currently seeking a High Incidence Special Education teacher for Blackmore Elementary School in El Dorado, KS. This position provides specially designed instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals and state/federal special education regulations. Responsibilities include collaborating with general education staff and families, implementing accommodations and interventions, monitoring student progress, maintaining compliance documentation, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
The teacher will support students academically, socially, and behaviorally to promote student success and independence. Applicants must have or be eligible for Kansas State certification/licensure or be interested in becoming certified/licensed to teach special education students in the State of Kansas on a waiver.
Qualifications:
Kansas teaching license or willing to complete requirements for special ed waiver and licensure.
