Salary Range: $25.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Schedule: 7 am – 4 pm, Monday – Friday (occasional weekend overtime)

Job Summary: PK Industrial seeks candidates with conventional spray equipment experience in the industrial industry, a great attitude, and solid work history.

Responsibilities:

• Performs all types of industrial painting work and surface preparation.
• Prepares various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, sandblasting or other means as necessary.
• Mixes, blends various paints, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, and special protective coatings for specified consistency and drying properties.
• Erects and uses ladders, scaffolding, and swinging stage equipment as required.
• Paints work and fireproofing on various structures, equipment, and piping using brush, spray gun or other applicators.
• Abrasive media blasting; fireproofing/industrial coatings application.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years industrial painting experience.
• Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
• Must be able to pass required background check/drug testing.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
• Must be able to physically handle the work, including bending and lifting.
