Augusta. These are full-time positions located in Augusta, Maine and allow for partial telework with management approval.

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform professional audit work under direction of senior auditors on Maine Care Providers and/or Community Agencies who receive state and federal funds through contracts with DHHS.
  • Complete financial and/or compliance audits for conformance to established laws, rules, regulations and standards.
  • Have opportunities to grow personally and professionally as you acquire knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Federal grants.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Six (6) years of practical, progressively responsible accounting or auditing experience at the professional level.
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Meet the requirements to sit for the Certified Public Accountant's Examination (at least 150 semester hours of education, including a minimum 4-year baccalaureate or higher degree conferred by an acceptable college or university, with at least 15 hours of accounting, auditing and ethics, including at least three hours of auditing and three hours of accounting).
