Tax Manager

You'll join a firm that is fiercely independent. Big enough to have the reach and resources, but small enough that every hire still shapes their culture. They have turned down acquisition offers more times than they can count. The next generation of leaders is already in place. The plan is continuity, not to cash out, so you won't be dragged through merger after merger.

They use CCH Axcess, fully cloud based. Busy season is around 55 hours a week. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the whole firm moves to a 4 day week, 32 hours total.

They are just shy of 60 people, bringing in about $12M a year, with one main office in Portland and a handful of remote staff across Maine and beyond.
