Group Risk Specialist – Supporting Retail Distribution

Responsibilities

• Provide risk management expertise to business leaders
• Lead and support implementation of risk frameworks
• Provide oversight and recommendations based on strategy and best practices
• Interpret business challenges and recommend actions
• Act as a technical expert leading cross‑functional teams
• Solve complex problems and develop new solutions
• Manage end‑to‑end functional programs
• Communicate technical concepts to senior stakeholders

• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
• 7+ years relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of risk management governance, programs, policies, practices, operating frameworks & reporting
• Knowledge of risk management environment, standards, regulations and mitigation
• Ability to establish goals and objectives which support the strategic plan
• Ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities
• Advanced skill in using analytical software tools and data analysis methods
• Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
