Commercial Construction Laborer (Augusta, Maine)
Commercial Construction Laborer to work on projects in the Augusta, Maine area. Duties may include but are not limited to cleaning, material moving, and demolition.
- Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations according to project plans or specifications
- Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures
- Demolition experience a plus
The ideal candidate has a 10‑hour OSHA certificate, at least one year of construction experience, and commercial demolition experience is a plus. Must be reliable, have transportation, and be able to work independently. Positive attitude, attention to detail, and focus on safety and quality are required.
Pay is $30‑$31 based on experience, background, and references.
