Safety Construction Officer

Job Opportunity

Temporary contract safety position in construction for ~26 weeks. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise regarding internal EHS programs, policies, and procedures, supporting staff with existing construction safety programs related to the installation of solar panels at ground level, and conducting or coordinating reviews of follow-up expectations and activities. The role also involves facilitating the implementation of prevention and risk reduction programs to improve safety and health programs, policies, and procedures, providing technical training on unsafe acts identified in the field, and ensuring awareness of construction safety practices relating to health and safety.

Requirements include OSHA 30 hour for Construction, approximately 40 hours per week for 26 weeks, and travel within the state of Maine required. Location – Augusta, ME area (all sites are within approximately 1.5 hours or less from Augusta).
