Project Manager

O’Brien Wood & Iron is a full-service building company that handles new construction, additions, remodels, renovations, restorations, and custom woodworking. We are based in Portland, Maine, and our focus is on providing excellent customer service and high-quality craftsmanship with great attention to detail. We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team.

• 6-10 years in the construction industry (residential preferred) with a strong understanding of the entire building process
• Experience developing job estimates from construction documents and creating project schedules, including scheduling subcontractors
• Excellent attitude, work ethic, eye for detail, and the ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to work independently with excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to calmly/professionally resolve any issues
• Experience using project management software
• Being a good fit with our existing crew is critical

• Full‑time position (35‑40 hours per week)
• Competitive Pay:
  Commensurate with experience

  Up to 80 hours in the first year, increasing with tenure
