Job DescriptionPosition is in-office located in Augusta, Maine.
Schedule:
Sunday 10a - 5p;
Monday - Thursday 8a-5p. Pay: $17.50-$19.00 depending on experience. We are looking for someone with a customer‑centric attitude and professional demeanor. Must be proficient in MS Office suite – Outlook, Word and especially Excel in a SharePoint environment.

A Customer Service Associate at Performance Food service is vital to the success of our company. As part of the sales support team, this position is the first point of contact for all customers with questions about their order, our products or Performance Food service. They act as a liaison between the customer and the Sales Account Representative as well as internal departments.
They are a member of the Customer Service team that functions within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
- Attend training and Customer Service meetings
- Process orders and transactions
- Answer questions about products and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems
- Support Sales in all aspects
- Provide information to other departments based on customer feedback
- Perform other related duties as assigned

QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent. 6–12 months of customer service, call center and/or related area. Customer‑centric attitude with professional demeanor. Proficient in MS Office suite – Outlook, Word and especially Excel in a SharePoint environment.
Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. 1–2 years of customer service, call center and/or related area within food service industry. Must work in office.
