Coordinator of Student Life - Augusta Campus
UMA is seeking a full-time Coordinator of Student Life for its Augusta campus to begin on or after 7/1/26. This position collaborates with the Director and Assistant Director of Student Life in cultivating a sense of community and providing opportunities for student growth and development that supports the University’s mission. The position assists the Assistant Director of Student Life in supporting the work of the student government, and collaborates with other members of the UMA community to provide a broad range of opportunities to promote the social, educational, professional, cultural and holistic development of a diverse student body.
This position is the lead staff member responsible for planning and executing all student activities on the Augusta campus, with a special focus on in-person engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- A minimum of two years of experience in event planning, student activities or leadership development
- A Maine driver’s license and qualifications to be approved as a driver of University vehicles
- Master’s degree in a related field (Student Development, Adult Education, etc.)
- Two or more years of experience in higher education
The hiring salary for this position is mid 40's to low 50's and is commensurate with training, education, and experience and will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion.
