Job Title:Elementary Special Education Teacher
Location: Sanford,ME
Description:
Actively looking to hire a licensed Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with special needs, including those with learning disabilities, emotional or behavioral disorders, physical disabilities, and developmental delays. This is a full time, contract position located in the Sanford,ME area.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
- Active Maine Special Education Certification.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct students both individually and in group settings.
- Plan curriculum, special education programs and teaching methods.
- Develop and implement IEP's (Individualized education plans).
