The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Admissions Counselor. The Admissions Counselor supports the overall UMA Enrollment Plan by assisting prospective students from the inquiry stage through the application process.

The ideal candidate will have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, computer literacy, the ability to work independently and as a member of a team, the ability to travel on behalf of the University, a knowledge of customer relationship management systems and familiarity with the University of Maine System structure, policies, and procedures.

  • One or more years of experience in recruitment and/or admissions
  • One or more years of experience with event/project planning
Salary: The normal hiring salary range for this position is in the mid-40s and is commensurate with training, education, and experience and will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion.
