Field Technician – Northern MaineThis role covers Aroostook and Penobscot counties, including Howland, Lincoln, Millinocket, Amity, Mars Hill, Fort Kent, Houlton, Caribou, Presque Isle, and surrounding communities. You will play a key role in maintaining network performance, resolving issues, and supporting ongoing improvements across the market. You will work independently in a hands‑on environment, supporting a wide range of network sites.
Main Responsibilities- Technical Support: Troubleshoot network performance issues, support outage resolution, and identify opportunities for operational improvement
- Project Support: Execute and support key projects, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and communication
- Operations: Recommend process improvements and assist in developing documentation, job aids, and procedures
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving technologies, systems, and company standards
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent relevant field experience. Candidates with strong technical or field experience are encouraged to apply – no degree required.
- Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred)
- 2‑4 years of experience in field operations, maintenance, or related technical roles
- 2‑4 years of experience in wireless telecommunications or a related field
- Basic knowledge of electronics and telecommunications systems (RF, fiber, microwave, power systems)
- Experience with Nokia and/or Ericsson RAN equipment preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotation
- Ability to lift 50‑70 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- At least 21 years of age to operate a company assigned vehicle

Base Pay Range: $27.16 - $48.99
Corporate Bonus Target: 10%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The actual starting pay will vary within this range based on location, qualifications, and experience.
