This is a technical position that will work statewide through the construction season and be based in the Augusta Headquarters office through the off season.
This position performs a variety of technical tasks working with the state owned pugmill, as well as working on design, contract documents, and review for future projects in an independent manner in the office.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring and overseeing the safety, quality and efficiency of the pugmill operations
- Performing daily maintenance on the equipment and testing of the materials produced
- Collecting data for future Regional Program projects
- Designing future Regional Program projects
- Working as an assistant to the pugmill manager
- Providing guidance to subordinate positions
Three (3) years of experience in engineering or a related technical field–OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and one (1) year of experience in engineering.
