Salary: $69,097.60 – $97,697.60 annually

- Review technical plans and specifications for construction projects, ensuring quality control and assurance.
- Manage project and construction administration, including writing reports, reviewing and approving pay requisitions, change orders, and designing submittals.
- Select qualified design teams and write/approve architect/engineer and construction contracts using State procedures.
- Implement controls for construction oversight and contract accountability.
- Assist in securing project funding for future years through National Guard Bureau procedures.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer.
- At least four (4) years of professional civil engineering experience, with a minimum of two (2) years performing complex engineering functions related to public works planning, development, or maintenance.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Knowledge of construction and maintenance of public works projects.
- Ability to understand and explain complex engineering projects, plans, and specifications.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise, and complete specifications, technical reports, or manuals.
- Experience in construction project management.
- Knowledge of State contracting procedures.
- Knowledge of National Guard construction.
- 13 paid holidays per year.

- 3+ weeks of vacation leave annually, with accrual increasing with service.
