Financial Advisor (FA) – Three‑year program with a forgivable draw, focusing on financial planning and selling investment management solutions to TD Wealth clients.
Responsibilities- Serve as the central point of contact, providing client service and developing relationships to grow share of wallet.
- Conduct thorough client discovery and complete financial needs analysis to deliver goals‑based advice.
- Partner with lead generation activities and promote referrals to Retail, Small Business, and Commercial partners.
- Manage all aspects of the client relationship, including onboarding, annual client review (ACR) meetings, and proactive communications.
- Execute a differentiated service model, meeting quarterly and annual sales goals and deepening wallet share.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, policy, and procedure requirements (e.g., OCC, SEC, SRO regulations, CIP, AML procedures).
- Provide coaching and on‑going feedback to new FAs and retail staff.
- Represent TD Wealth to the public and support community initiatives.
- Travel within the assigned market as needed for client and prospect meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- At least 2+ years of experience providing financial advice, planning, and investment sales.
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, Series 63 and Series 66 (or equivalent) required; L&H license needed.
- Strong understanding of wealth products, client relationship management, and consultative sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Self‑directed with the ability to plan activities to achieve sales and referral goals.
- Willingness to travel up to five days a week within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with core banking and client‑management tools.
