• Perform clinical laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood bank, and other disciplines.
• Process and prepare patient specimens for testing.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Review and verify laboratory results for accuracy.
• Identify and report abnormal or critical test results.
• Maintain laboratory records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, VA policies, and laboratory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals.

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related science field.
• Current MLS, MT, ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience performing laboratory testing in a hospital, medical center, or clinical laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
