Psychotropic CPS Case Aide

• Assisting in gathering health records for children in custody of the Department.
• Reviewing health records, child welfare reports, Health Info Net, and assisting with subsequent data entry, analysis, and uploading to the electronic information system.
• Tracking and reporting of health records and information gathered.
• Communication and collaboration with medical office personnel and child welfare staff.
• Assisting in tracking, documenting and electronic filing of informed consent forms.
• Tracking and responding to psychotropic medication review requests.
• All other tasks, projects, and duties as assigned.

• To qualify, your background must include training, education, or experience in office and client support work.
• Competency in applying a proficient knowledge of the principles and practices in assisting management with policies and procedures.
• Ability to use independent judgment, initiative, and decision-making on complex administrative and direct service activities.
• Possession of a valid Class C Maine Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
• Prior experience with medical records or work in the medical or mental health field preferred.
• Skilled in the use of standard work-place applications (MS Word, EXCEL, Outlook, etc.).

Demonstrates proficiency in managing health records and collaborating with medical and child welfare personnel, while applying independent judgment and decision-making in administrative tasks. Familiarity with electronic information systems and standard workplace applications is essential.
