Job Description

Summary:

Provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover, and maintain physical mobility/function within an assigned area.

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Documents subjective, objective, and assessment findings and plans patient progress.
• Educates and counsels the patient and family/caregiver.
• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
• Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
• Supervises and delegates the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.
• Some employees in this job may operate a motor vehicle to conduct Maine General Health business.

• $36.40 - $63.70 USD Hourly Compensation Information: $36.40 - $63.70 The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position.
• Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations.
• In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
