This position assists Respiratory Therapists with caring for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. The trainee position is specifically for candidates who are close to graduation/Board certification/licensure.

Job Description

Assists Respiratory Therapists with delivery and assessment of patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the extent allowed based on unlicensed status. Assists in evaluating respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices. Assists in educating patients and family members about the patient's illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources.

Will be transferred to Respiratory Therapist (6903) position upon receipt of degree, Board certification, and licensure.

Compensation Information

$24.30 - $24.30 The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
