We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and resourceful person to join our team. This position provides professional level human resources services for State agencies served by the Security and Employment Service Center. The focus of this position is to manage all position actions and work with agencies in advising and processing of job classification actions. It also involves participation in recruitment efforts, knowledge of basic payroll functions, FMLA and Workers Compensation, querying and maintaining reports such as vacancies, positions reports, and seniority lists, running complex data analytics reports, and coordinating assignments with agencies, the Bureau of Human Resources, the Office of the State Controller, and the Bureau of Budget.
Responsibilities- Manage all position actions and advise agencies on job classification processes.
- Participate in recruitment efforts for contracted agencies.
- Perform basic payroll functions and apply understanding of FMLA and Workers Compensation.
- Query and maintain vacancy, position, and seniority reports.
- Run complex data analytics reports to support HR operations.
- Coordinate assignments and collaborate with agencies, the Bureau of Human Resources, the Office of the State Controller, and the Bureau of Budget.
- Provide effective communication with a variety of customers and demonstrate strong organizational and critical‑thinking skills.
- Experience in mid‑level human resources.
- Preference to candidates with experience in position management, FJAs, PRISM payroll, and PRISM recruiting.
