Field Technician

Our client is currently seeking a qualified field technician to join their team in augusta, me and provide end-user support. Candidates must have reliable transportation, clean mvr, and a valid driver’s license.

• diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues
• install, configure, and maintain it equipment and related applications
• repair / install / remove printers, pos, laptops, desktops, servers, network equipment
• perform preventive and routine maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• provide clear, professional technical support to customers both onsite and via phone
• maintain accurate service documentation, ensuring compliance with quality and operational standards

• strong working knowledge of printers (laser and wide format / plotters), computer hardware, and software systems
• demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues
• excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service
• ability to manage multiple tasks independently while also functioning effectively in a team environment
• must be able to climb ladders and utilize hand tools efficiently
• physical ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

the rate for this position is between $17.25 - $23.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
