  • Building Maintenance and Repairs: Perform basic repairs involving plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, masonry, mechanical systems, and basic electrical work that does not require a license.
  • Groundskeeping and Landscaping: Mow, trim, rake, sweep, plant, shovel snow, plow, sand walkways, and maintain parking areas and driveways as needed.
  • General Facility Support: Replace light bulbs, repair and move furniture, move equipment, maintain supplies, and assist with general custodial tasks.

  • A current and valid State of Maine driver’s license.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools, landscaping equipment, and safe work practices.
  • An understanding of workplace safety requirements and the importance of maintaining a safe environment.
  • The ability to perform a variety of hands‑on tasks, follow instructions, and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependability, attention to detail, and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Experience in a nursing home, healthcare, or similar facility is helpful but not required.
