Head of House – Overview
The Head of House will start in September 2026 and lead the leadership, management and day‑to‑day operation of a boarding house.
Responsibilities- Lead the entire House team, ensuring the safe, supportive, inclusive and enriching residential environment for all students.
- Manage daily operations and oversee well‑being, discipline, and house activities.
- Collaborate with senior management to implement institutional policies and safeguard procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for student, staff and parent communication regarding House matters.
- Experienced head or senior teacher leadership within a boarding or school environment.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and DBS checks.
- Proven ability to manage staff, budgets and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid UK work rights and willingness to comply with all vetting procedures.
