The Branch Manager is responsible for driving branch growth, portfolio performance, and profitability through loan production, tax preparation growth, customer retention, and delinquency management in a performance-driven environment. This role generates new business through customer outreach, referrals, and community engagement, evaluates and approves lending decisions, oversees collections efforts, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Branch Manager also recruits, develops, and leads a high-performing team while maintaining efficient branch operations and strong customer relationships.
Compensation $39,500, based on experience and location, plus performance-based bonus opportunities. This is a results-driven role where earnings are directly tied to branch performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Meet branch goals for loan growth, tax preparation production, profitability, portfolio performance, and delinquency.
- Grow the branch through customer outreach, outbound calling, referrals, community engagement, networking, and promotion of branch products and services.
- Review, approve, and close loans within company guidelines.
- Manage delinquency and collection efforts to maintain portfolio performance and minimize losses.
- Lead, train, coach, and develop branch employees while holding them accountable for performance expectations.
- Oversee branch operations and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and make sound business decisions that support branch success.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current insurance
- Ability to obtain required insurance licensing
- Must be able to independently perform all required bank runs, including transporting deposits, without relying on non-employees for transportation.
- At least one year of management experience or successful completion of management training program
