Equestrian Program Director

Nestled on a mile of private shoreline on Great Pond in Belgrade, Maine, Runoia has been a special place for girls since 1907 and the staff who show up each summer are what make it that way. We're looking for an experienced equestrian professional ready to lead a thriving program, care for a beloved herd, and spend their summer somewhere worth being.

• As our Equestrian Program Director, oversee all aspects of Runoia's riding program, managing a herd of 9-12 horses, leading a staff of 4-5, and delivering English/Hunter Jumper instruction to campers of all skill levels.
• This is a senior leadership role. You'll set the tone for the barn, the horses, and the team.

• A professional with 5+ years of experience riding, teaching, and caring for horses.
• Ability to lead a team, manage a full barn operation, and bring calm, confident horsemanship to camp every day.
• CHA or USHJA certification is a strong plus.
• Current Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to drive a trailer a plus.
• Minimum age 21.
