Granite Countertop Fabricator

At Freshwater Stone, we have over 40 years of stone construction experience, and we strive to be the first choice for those who recognize the value of exceptional craftsmanship. We are currently looking to add an additional Experienced Interior Stone Finisher to our team.

Applicants will be expected to have experience reading and understanding architectural drawings and shop tickets and the ability to cut, grind, shape and/or polish countertops and other interior stonework according to shop tickets/templates. Prior knowledge of measuring tools, power tools, and equipment utilized in the stone/quartz counter top industry and ability to perform basic and complex mathematical computations utilizing fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions are necessary.

Must be able to produce all types of detailed edge work using hand tools.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience fabricating custom residential and commercial stone/quartz countertops, vanity tops, tub decks & shower enclosures
• 3-5 years of residential or commercial construction experience
• Knowledge of natural stone and quartz surfacing products and safe slab moving procedures
• Work overtime including weekends when required to meet production goals
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry materials 100 lbs or more with prolonged standing in wet, hot/cold environments.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED
• This position is full time, hourly.
