Position Summary

The Home Building Team Member performs the manufacturing production operations assigned to each department in the home building process. They follow standard production methods and safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe.

• Work as a team to maintain and exceed production goals.

• Be punctual and reliable.
• Follow all quality guidelines and building codes to produce a high‑quality product.
• Serve as a steward of company physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting needed maintenance, and keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator in planning and organizing manufacturing activities by communicating anticipated material shortages, required tool maintenance, and any quality or productivity issues.
• Be adaptable and flexible at all times, performing any duties assigned.

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Speak, read, and understand English.
• Versatility and willingness to transfer to various departments when necessary.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings and prints.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification (preferred).
• Vocational certifications (a big plus).

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to be on feet (standing and walking) for up to 4 hours at a time.
• Ability to perform repetitive stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift and hold tools and building materials overhead.
• Ability to operate a staple/nail gun weighing 1–5 lbs for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to work in extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while meeting all general physical demands of the job.

Travel:
None – homes are built in our manufacturing facility.
Tool/Equipment:
None – we provide all necessary tools and basic PPE.

Base pay rate is $24 per hour (effective January1,2024). Pay range is skill‑based; the more skills you master, the more you earn. After the 90‑day probationary period, you become eligible for a weekly production bonus. Typical schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7AM–3:30PM. You can create a stable schedule that fits your life, with PTO accruing after 30 days.
