Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: 26-27 CC Maine Volunteer Management Specialist VISTA

This VISTA position is a part of Catholic Charities USA’s Family Strengthening Program, a national intermediary project. As a member, you will meet virtually with VISTA Leaders and other VISTAs serving throughout the country, all focused on alleviating poverty. Analyze and review all areas of the Volunteer Services program to see where we can create and improve processes. We will also connect with Volunteer Coordinators at each of our 20 programs to see how we can assist them, and to help them learn how to record their volunteer hours for their volunteers or come up with efficiencies to help with onboarding and orientation paperwork, efiling, or capturing the information in the most efficient way.

We also want to remain compliant. Our Volunteer Services program was rated one of the highest rated program by the Council of Accreditation in 2025 - so we will be a great program to learn from if you are interested in Volunteer Management. One of the goals of the review is how the flow of the program runs, and see if we can find an easier flow, or a more efficient flow of how everything will work.

Through these efforts, the VISTA will help to increase capacity & build more sustainable methods for the future.
