Job Description & How to Apply Below

Since its formation in 2012, the Good Food Council of Lewiston-Auburn (GFCLA) has been committed to fostering a robust, just, and sustainable food system that serves every resident. Lewiston and Auburn together form one of Maine's most densely populated and diverse areas. Yet, this vibrancy exists alongside one of the state's lowest socioeconomic statuses, leading to significant poverty and food insecurity.

This pressing need drives the GFCLA's critical work. We coordinate the Androscoggin Gleaners and the Local Foods Action Plan Lewiston-Auburn. We foster essential spaces for information exchange, identify crucial gaps and opportunities for partnership, collaborate with municipalities and elected officials to inform and develop policy, and play a vital role in educating and empowering our community towards greater food equity and access for all.
